Systems Products and Solutions, Inc. Logistics Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama

Description

This position is contingent, based upon contract award.

Work will be performed OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in creating logistic support plans, shipping load-outs on commercial or military systems

  • Experience in property management within DoD and U.S. Government regulations

  • Experience in personnel manning level requirements and planning for CONUS and OCONUS deployments

  • Capable of multi-tasking; working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

  • Operate software programs designed specifically to manage logistical functions, such as procurement, inventory management, and other supply chain planning

  • Material Handling experience, using fork trucks and pallet jacks

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office suite and applications

  • Create and implement logistic support plans

  • Generates shipping load-outs on commercial or military systems

  • Maintaining detailed and up-to-date inventory records. Coordination and communication with equipment vendors and suppliers to ensure procurement processes are followed as directed

  • Generate purchase requests and purchase orders in support of program requirements

Education/Skills:

  • BS/BA four years of relevant experience or

  • High School Diploma and 8 years specialized logistic experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply, Property, and Warehouse management within Government or Military operations

  • Practical experience in DOD/federal applications is desirable

  • Substantial knowledge of Government Property Management

  • Experience utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and/or Government logistics databases Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking (COLTS ) / Defense Priorities & Allocations System (DPAS)
