Internal Auditor for Automotive Parts/Logistics

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to assist with Parts and Logistics audits for one of our Automotive Manufacturing clients in the Huntsville / Madison, AL area. A professional auditor with experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector automotive or logistics and familiarity with quality auditing procedures is a must have. Will require 1–2-day visit to the facilities (could be extended an extra day if necessary). The remainder of audit work can be performed remotely.

• Auditors should have a proven track record of experience in automotive manufacturing or manufacturing industry

• Conduct regular audits of inventory and distribution processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

• Verify the accuracy of inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies

• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements

• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal auditing

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or CPA

• Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management systems and distribution processes

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS), AuditBoard, experience preferred (not required)

• Ability to travel 1 to 2 days to location, US Citizen.

What We Offer:

• Hourly rate of $60 - $70 an hour with Direct Deposit

• Full-time, 3 +-month contract role with full Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K Benefits as a W-2 employee.
