Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group is a rapidly growing company currently hiring Unarmed Security Officers to be part of the warehouse/mfg./logistics process. We are a national company with many talent centers throughout the country. Metro One is seeking service-minded individuals to join our security officer team, who will bring customer service skills and continue to build on relationships with our clients.

Prior Security Industry, Military or Corrections Experience

Preferred . Alabama Security License is Preferred

Security Officer Summary:

The Security Officer(s) will be responsible for manning truck access gates and/or a command center - doing tours throughout interior & exterior of site buildings, monitoring alarms etc. Schedule must be flexible. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Schedule is subject to change.

Responsibilities

You will be trained and develop skills in the following:

+ + Access control systems

+ + Logistics Tracking Software

+ + CCTV – Video Management Systems

+ + Strong Computer Skills

+ + Physical Security Inspections

+ + Willing/Able to stand/walk for lengthy periods (8hrs or more).

+ + Experience with Microsoft Office

+ + Vehicle Inspections – Personnel Inspection

+ + Metal Detector and Baggage Inspection Systems

+ + Security Alarms

+ + Proficient in Report Writing

+ + Large/Busy Warehouse/MFG./Distribution Center Experience Helpful

+ + Must have strong communication skills

+ + Strong work ethic.

+ + Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

+ + Ability to type and or use a computer keyboard with sufficient

speed to meet the requirements of the role.

+ + Able to understand documents, learn and follow ticketing

procedures, and other rules and regulations.

+ + Requires walking/running up and down stairs on a regular basis

+ + Must be able to work unassigned shifts/schedules

Work Environment: * Must be aware of surrounding and to moving vehicles and/or

use of equipment. * May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods. * Able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or in writing * Provide rapid response in critical situations. * Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner. * Ability to apply creative solutions that have a positive impact on team members

Logistics Security Officer Requirements:

+ + Must have valid government issued 2 forms of IDs

+ + Must have State of Alabama Guard License, Preferred.

+ + Must have documentation to complete the new hire documents.

+ + Must have reliable means of transportation each day.

+ + Must have flexibility within schedule.

+ + Must have strong communication skills

+ + Must have a strong work ethic.

+ + Must be able to work in various weather conditions, hot &/or cold

+ + Must be able to work 2 out of 3 shifts, 1st, 2nd &/or 3rd

+ + Must be able to undergo 3 consecutive weeks of paid OJT (On the Job Training) Trainings are during 1st shift time frames

+ + Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements for Security Officer.
