Huntsville Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc. dba Phoenix Grounds Maintenance Worker in Huntsville, Alabama
Grounds Maintenance workers needed on Redstone Arsenal. Full-time positions, hourly rate of pay will Depend on Experience, no previous experience necessary,
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and JOB FUNCTIONS:
- May include operating weed eaters, edgers, blowers, push mowers, or riding mowers as assigned.
- May include mulching, pruning, weeding, planting, or other general grounds maintenance tasks.
- Perform all work as instructed by the crew leader and zone manager.
- Use equipment only for work it was intended for in order to avoid damage to the equipment, the grounds, and other property.
- Know all safety rules concerning your equipment and work according to them. Ensure all safety rules and procedures are followed, e.g. PPE worn, proper work methods used, and equipment safety devices are in place and operating. Immediately bring any safety issues to the attention of your crew leader and/or zone manager.
- Observe established break times and the beginning and end of workday times.
- Other duties as assigned.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the requirements of the job with minimal accommodations.
- Must successfully complete a background check and receive favorable pre-employment drug screen results.
LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
