Job Description

An employer in the Huntsville area is looking for an Electromechanic to join the maintenance team. Responsibilities include:

• Providing electrical/electronic and mechanical diagnostics. Performing repairs to process machinery, equipment and controls within assigned work area

• Providing all required preventative and predictive maintenance procedures on process machinery and equipment within assigned work areas

• Maintaining technical competence in advancing technology via frequent training courses, on-the-job training, and vendor schools

• Proficiently utilizing a wide variety of tools and instrumentation including but not limited to: voltage tester, ammeter, megger, oscilloscope, vertilift, hand tools, power tools, personal computers, vibration analyzers and laser measurement equipment

• Assisting in resolving maintenance related process problems which may require the proficient operation of that equipment

Skills and Requirements

• Hydraulic maintenance/troubleshooting experience

• Electrical troubleshooting in industrial/manufacturing/production environment

• 2+ years of total experience in industrial maintenance - Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs

• Robotics experience

• Associates degree in electro-mechanical technology, industrial maintenance, or equivalent desired null
