Program Summary

KBR’s Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army’s Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.

Job Summary

Are you an Electrical or Computer Engineering Student in your Junior or Senior year? Are you interested in US Army Aviation? If this sounds like you, then KBR has an exciting opportunity. KBR is currently looking for a current Electrical or Computer Engineering student to intern in our Prototype Engineering Group.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work under direct supervision of senior Engineers to design and document electrical systems used across an array of US Department of Defense and US Army Aviation Programs.

  • Participating in design discussions with other program stakeholders

  • Present design concepts utilizing Microsoft Office Tools

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a Junior or Senior in an accredited Electrical or Computer Engineering degree

  • Must have completed classes that required electrical design projects

  • Must have good communications skills

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must have some experience in creating electrical schematics

  • Must have the ability to obtain a Dept of Defense Secret Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with DoD Aviation is a plus

  • Previous experience with AutoCAD is a plus
