PRIMARY FUNCTION

Yulista Holdings, LLC is supporting a $500m federal contractor to identify a Director of Business Development and Capture to support business development efforts in the logistics and Base Operations Support Group. Seeking a versatile individual contributor for a dial focused role, combining business development and capture manager responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a track record of winning opportunities values at $40m or more and experienced with DOD, DOE, FCC, Department of Interior, NASA and other similar federal agencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
  • This includes pipeline creation, qualification and management as well as leading capture activities for specific opportunities.
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts.
  • Responsible for developing and executing capture plans that maximize pWin for the business units most important opportunities. This includes:
    • Lead development and execution of the win strategy and key messages/themes
    • Interface with customer community to understand needs, desires, hot buttons, concerns, issues, and culture.
    • Identify shaping opportunities that influence final RFP to enhance pWin
    • Drive solutioning and estimating efforts by identifying and engaging internal SMEs to gain their support and expertise.
    • Drive Teaming strategies and negotiate teaming arrangements.
    • Obtain and apply an understanding of the competitive landscape and adjust solutions, as needed.
    • Conduct win strategy sessions, including development of major themes and proposal strengths.
  • This includes the creation of pricing strategies.
  • Responsible for writing and submitting RFI and sources sought responses.
  • Contributes to proposal writing for opportunities where they have played a key role in the capture process, supporting the development of compelling proposals.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Over 7 years' experience in operations and/or capture management in support of Federal clients
  • A history of leading or participating in winning bids, ideally between $10-100m
  • Understanding or experience with developing BOEs and pricing strategies strongly preferred
  • Proven experience with base operations, facility OandM, range maintenance and/or physical security opportunities.
  • Secret Clearance preferred.
