Position Description: This position will create purchase orders from purchase requests; issue request for quotes/proposals; evaluate quotes/offers for best price, delivery, and other evaluation criteria; issue, administer, modify, perform cost analyses, and close out orders and blanket orders; research available suppliers, set up and maintain file documentation to procurement standards and government regulations.
Required Experience: None - entry level position.
Required Education: Bachelors degree in business, accounting, communications or a relevant field.
Required skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple efforts.
