Our client, a well known auto manufacturer, is seeking a Production Engineer that will prepare, coordinate manufacturing equipment to support new model launches as well as unit plant competitiveness.

Required:

• Bachelors Degree OR 5 years automotive engineering experience

• 1 year of production preparation of manufacturing and experience in execution of capital projects

• 1 year creating and implementing assembly processes in a manufacturing

• AutoCad

• Travel Percentage: 10 % - 30% for Domestic Travel. 1% Changes for Travel to out of the country

responsibilities:

• Develop process plans for production lines within the powertrain department with manager's support.

• Mentor and directly support other engineers or technicians.

• Lead cost planning, budget creation, machine specification, procurement, validation, installation, pre-production trials, and launch of production lines.

• Create and maintain detailed schedules and budgets for assigned areas.

• Participate in cross-functional working groups within the local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals.

• Engage in a mentor program to grow as an engineer and learn from others within the department.
