PPT Solutions, Inc. is seeking aApache Software Engineerin Huntsville, Alabama.

Job Overview for the Apache Software Engineer:

• Make software airworthiness assessments and provide technical expertise in software safety documents
• Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in support of team objectives
• Evaluate test environments and quality pipelines
• Improve and evolve existing testing frameworks and processes
• Evaluate and propose modifications to the functional and regression test cases for multiple projects to ensure software is in compliance with specifications as required.
• Validate releases of software components
• Evaluate the analysis, reporting, tracking and re-testing of defects
• Identify and propose best test automation frameworks and tools
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality of solutions and continuous improvement
• Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and improve software tests and overall quality
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies to improve test coverage and test automation
• Strong familiarity with unit and integration testing
• Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices and policies
• Evaluate software documentation (e.g. SVD, IRS, SRS, STE, STP, etc.) for complete airworthiness requirements.
• Review appropriate test plan/report documentation to support AH-64D/E system development.

Required Qualifications for the Apache Software Engineer:

0-20 Years of Experience, if experienced, must be DO-178 expert level

Bachelor of Engineering Degree

Must be a US Citizen (contract requirement)

Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance

Travel up to 10%

Hybrid work with 2 days on site
