Wilson Lumber Company Administrative Assistant (Admin Assistant) in Huntsville, Alabama
Role Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the employee and management teams at the Westmoreland site. This position will perform receptionist duties for the location; maintain records for residential and commercial jobs, process purchase orders in BisTrack and support other departments as required.
Scope of the Position:
The Administrative Assistant will be located at the Westmoreland, TN site. This position requires <10% travel.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Answer the phone and greet guests
Compile and distribute lists of residential and commercial jobs as needed
Create and receive purchase orders
Scan purchase orders, sales orders, bills of lading, and other documents into BisTrack
Print job packets and large-format layouts, etc.
Assist Human Resources team in Alabama.
Purchase Supplies
Support the HERD team by assisting with company functions to include employee appreciation lunches, parties, etc.
Assist design create orders
Any other duties as assigned by management
Position Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Effective written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
Detail oriented
Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Education and Experience:
High school degree or equivalent
1-year experience in office setting
Physical Requirements:
Sit, Stand, walk, frequently
Adapt to various environments including production
You will be expected to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
