KBR Acquisition Cost Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama

Title:

Acquisition Cost Analyst

KBR is seeking an Acquisition Cost Analyst! Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop cost-estimating models from data collected on programs.

  • Provide advice and technical assistance to functional specialists in identifying and evaluating program cost factors and cost impact on program alternatives, in the form of briefings and reports documenting the results of the analysis of system costs.

  • Refine and adjust cost models in response to changes in technical specifications, support requirements, design alternatives, engineering, and operational trade-off proposals.

  • Develop life cycle cost estimates to determine the total cost of the program.

  • Develops Independent Government Estimates (IGE)

  • Evaluates Contract Proposals with regard to price

  • Participates in the development and updating of Product Team’s Spend Plans

  • Assists with P/R Form Review & Preparation & UFRs: Info Papers, Impact Statements

  • Provides cost data in support of the development of the Program Management Reviews (PMR) and Acquisition Status Reviews

  • Create or update model formats to include EXCEL spreadsheets or ACEIT cost estimating software that provide a base for the estimating equations and phased reports.

  • Respond to cost reporting tasking requests.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

  • Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT).

  • Onsite duties are required. Adaptive Work Environment (AWE) schedule will be directed by A3S.

  • Candidate may qualify for position by meeting any of the following educational requirements

  • B.S. and 14 years of experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree, and advanced degrees may be applied in lieu of experience.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
