J.H. Fletcher & Co. Maintenance Technician Worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery has a job opening for a Maintenance Technician. This individual will be responsible for assisting the senior maintenance staff by performing a variety of tasks around the plant, including but not limited to routine inspections of the grounds, preventative maintenance and repairs as needed, and support with installation of new equipment. This role will assist in making sure all operations are running smoothly and efficiently by addressing facility issues as they arise. This candidate should have a collaborative work style with the ability to work independently. The job will be in Huntington, West Virginia. ** Qualifications Two (2) years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; Ability to troubleshoot repair issues; Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; Ability to use hand and power tools with ease; Capacity to work unsupervised or with minimal oversight; Valid drivers license; Certified Electrician is a plus. Job Duties will include: Assisting senior maintenance staff with general on-site maintenance, which may include replacing worn parts, fixing leaks, or addressing electrical issues; Helping to diagnose and repair equipment issues as they arise, Providing tools and/or supplies to employees when needed; Keeping machinery, tools, and work areas clean and organized; Mobile equipment repair; Other duties as assigned.
