Accounting Clerk

Manpower of Huntington is seeking an Accounting Clerk for an employer in the Huntington area. This is a full time temporary to permanent career opportunity offering a set weekly schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. The pay rate is $12.00 - $15.00/per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide clerical and accounting support to the accounting department - both AR and AP.

Create and maintain financial spreadsheets.

Maintain paper and electronic filing system.

Utilize QuickBooks and other company software systems.

Must maintain confidentiality pertaining to sensitive information.

Requirements:

Competency in MS Office and QuickBooks required and ability to prove competency via pre-employment assessments.

General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures.

High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, well organized with excellent time management skills.

Must be reliable and dependable.

Two years accounting experience required.

Associates degree or relevant certification preferred. High school diploma/GED required.

Must meet pre-employment background and drug screen requirements.
