In the role of Innovation Project Manager you'll play a pivotal part on our engineering team.

The Innovation Program Manager, reporting to the VP of Research and Technology, oversees and manages transversal and strategic projects while supporting the Safran Cabin Innovation (SCI) executive team operational management activities. This position also provides project leadership to a matrixed, cross- functional integrated program team (IPT) for strategic projects.

This position contributes to our vision by:

• Manage the successful execution of Technological and Innovative Future (TEC) programs; responsible for overall financial performance of the TEC Program, controlling costs, and managing scope

• Serve as the Business Process Manager (BPM) for TEC deployment, working as a part of team to ensure operation capabilities meet defined needs, and all processes within scope remain nimble, efficient, and scalable

• Define, deploy, and oversee TEC policies, procedures, and processes; create related communication and training documents

• Ensure that SCI policies and procedures are compliant with corporate standards and industry norms; train Cabin staff and ensure adherence to these policies and procedures

• Serve as primary contact point for customers, suppliers, and partners for TEC projects

• Manage digital transformation projects that include IoT/Cloud/Web/Mobile/AI technologies

• Ensure that DevOps (CI/CD) processes are established and practiced across all digital products development

The expected salary range for this position is between $87,960 - $138,230 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Engineering, Physical Science, or related field

Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience in either Research & Technology or Product Development, with at least 6 years as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in a commercial aerospace environment

Computer Skills:

• Proficient with MS Project

• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Skills:

• Basic knowledge of program management methodologies and proven ability to manage complex projects

• Knowledge of industry norms for Product Development Processes

• In-depth knowledge of Web/Mobile Application development

• In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and databases

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Research & Technology processes

• In-depth knowledge of User Experience (UX) Design & Innovation principles and practices, experience in translating customer and user research into needs and solutions

• Experience working directly with customers, including Airlines and OEMs

• Experience working with Sales & Marketing teams to support business case development

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships, leadership skills, organizational skills, ability to analyze and summarize information, financial acumen

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with accuracy and attention to detail

Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)

• Master's Degree, or equivalent, in Engineering, Business Administration, or a Physical Science

• Program Management, Business Management, or Accounting experience

• Project Management certification (PMI, PMP, etc.)
