Huntingdon County Child & Adult Development Corporation Early Head Start Home Visitor Assistant in HUNTINGDON, Pennsylvania
Description: Assist in carrying out the operations and delivery of services in the Home-based Program in compliance with HCCADC policies, Head Start performance standards, guidance, and the Program Plan.
Provide and supervise stimulating and developmentally appropriate activities for infants/toddlers in the childcare room while providing childcare during program activities.
Provide and coordinate transportation for families as assigned by Home Visitor and/or Home-based Program Manager
Assist Home Visitor in planning and implementing activities for Family Fun Days.
Perform minor clerical functions such as filing, copying, collating of materials, etc.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, prior experience in working with infants and toddlers and families preferred but not required. Must possess a valid PA driver's license and an accident-free driving record. The employee must possess initiative, be flexible, and have a pleasant demeanor. PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, NSOR Verification, and FBI clearances required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.29 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
