JOB SUMMARY:

The PMIII will be a key member of the Home & Commercial Solutions segment Program Management Office (PMO) reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO. This position provides leadership for global cross-functional teams in the development, commercialization and launch of innovative product solutions that meet cost, schedule, quality, and scope requirements. Additionally, the Program Manager will manage programs of all complexity, technology, markets, and risks, and will aid in both the accuracy and analysis of project planning and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Independently lead projects that range in complexity in new/existing markets and technology, delivering key PMO metrics of project timing, cost, quality, and budget.

-Partner with Brand Marketing to define project scope & success criteria; navigate scope changes and manage risk to ensure successful project delivery.

-Lead Network Joint Planning Sessions to collaboratively develop standardized timelines for projects.

-Establish formal weekly team meetings & communication methods that drive project execution & completion.

-Monitor and report status of project progress and risks to upper management.

-Ensure each project plan contains activities to include, verify, validate, and act upon consumer insight.

-Use financial information and analysis to support fact-based business decisions.

-Motivate and monitor project team members while influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

-Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team and escalate issues as needed.

-Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.

-Strategically partner with Brand and R&D Directors.

-Interact effectively with global product development teams.

-Hold regular reviews with managers to ensure program and project plans are aligned with the innovation strategy.

-Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the New Product Development (NPD) process. Provide training on NPD to cross functional teams.

-Participate in post launch audit output evaluations to recommend advancements for continuous improvement of project execution practices.

-Develop self as a role model for professionalism and leadership.

-Recognize, celebrate, and reward successes of individuals and of teams.

-Lead and develop people and teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or in a related field.

-PMP or CSPM Certification is preferred.

-Consumer products industry experience is strongly preferred.

-7+ years of experience in project management.

-1-2 years of experience in a management and leadership role is strongly preferred.

-Experience leading projects and programs with high complexity and high capital spend.

-Proven ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments at a global level.

-Demonstrated familiarity with structured project management methodologies.

-Demonstrated familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning.

-Experience in developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.

-Logical and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.

-Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Project Online and SharePoint.

-Possesses influencing skills (leads by example, clearly articulates business cases and interpretation of cause-effect impact).

-Demonstrates high ethics and values.

-Highly effective organization and planning skills.

-Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel through executive leadership.

-Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
