Newell Brands Product Workflow Analyst - Remote in Huntersville, North Carolina

Job Title: Product Workflow Analyst

Reports To: Leader, Product Workflow Analyst

Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities

  • Own entire change management process from item inception to obsoletion for specific product category(s), to include entering master data into PLM (Windchill) and managing tasks through data collection and development activities needed for delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to guarantee all product information is accurate and complete. Partner with project stakeholders on delays, bottlenecks, and resource constraints.

  • Project manage select projects by creating and managing timelines. Support other project managers in timeline creation by providing estimated task durations and preferred process flow. Help team to mitigate delays by offering alternate process flow and highlighting potential risks.

  • Co-lead weekly product meetings with PMO and/or engineering and marketing organizationgroups. Lead one-off cross-functional meetings as needed, to ensure all participants of change management activities understand project details and timelines.

  • Create manufacturing Bill of Materials to be used in SAP ECC (Enterprise Core Component) environment.

  • Ensure consistency across SAP and Windchill and drive for data integrity.

  • Support cross-functional participants by providing instruction on change request documentation and task requirements by project. Participate in roviderecurring refresher trainings to larger audience.

  • Business Process Champion (BPC) for the change management process and the use of Windchill as a tool for that process. Assist with change management process improvement projects and identify new areas of opportunity.

  • Go-to person for assigned category. Act as product expert with solid understanding of manufacturing/procurement process, key stakeholders, and future business plans.

  • Assist product data analysts in other categories when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in supply chain, data governance, or project management role.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • SAP experience preferred

  • PLM system or change management system experience. Windchill experience a plus.

  • Manufacturing experience in the consumer goods industry.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others at all levels.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines.

  • Critical thinking skills a must.

  • Process improvement experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Typing and sitting at least 7-8 hours per day
