If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for aMaintenance Manager to join our team located in Huntersville, NC.

Your Role:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supporting all aspects of maintenance, within the Thermoforming or Injection Molding departments, in a large volume consumer packaging facility. This includes supporting Operational Excellence through our Planned Maintenance Pillar, coaching and developing a large maintenance staff, ensuring plant assets are maintained, collaborating with plant leaders on priorities to support the business, and maintaining established KPI’s to ensure continual improvement. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and direct team members in the maintenance and repair of equipment.

  • Engage team members in operational excellence and lean problem-solving techniques to support continuous improvement.

  • Manage department budget, develop annual spending plans, and develop financial analysis.

  • Work with other departments to evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, develop process technologies, and optimize production.

We need you to have:

  • 5 to 10 years of progressive Maintenance Leadership in a complex manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Maintenance Manager role.

  • Experience using automated Maintenance Management Systems to collect work orders, plan PMs, and assign work.

  • Strong understanding of PLC’s, Hydraulics, Electrical, and Packaging Equipment.

  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.

  • Strong analytical skills and organizational skills.

  • Project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects.

  • Well-developed leadership and motivational skills with proven ability to influence and motivate others to quickly achieve results.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.

  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaborating and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Project management experience.

  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).

  • Previous experience working in an operational excellence environment.

  • Hands on maintenance leadership experience in an Injection Molding or Thermoforming Facility.
