Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling fluid control systems using customer-defined blueprints and specifications, utilizing hand and power tools in a clean room environment to ensure compliance with food, beverage, and medical regulations. You will also perform visual inspections of all components and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fluid control systems using customer-defined blueprints and specifications.

• Utilize hand tools and power tools to aid in the assembly process.

• Work in a clean room environment to meet regulations for food, beverage, and medical uses.

• Perform visual inspections of all components and finished products.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of previous manufacturing assembly experience.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications/drawings (training available if necessary).

• Comfort with using various hand tools and power tools, including screwdrivers and wrenches.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience.

• Soldering skills.

• Experience with circuit board assembly and panel building.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art, clean, and climate-controlled facility. The assembly department operates within a clean room due to stringent regulations for food, beverage, and medical manufacturing. Employees are required to wear lab coats to prevent contamination. This is a 1st shift position with flexible start times (6am-3pm or 8am-5pm). Although initial employment will be on a long-term contract basis (1+ years), there are opportunities for permanent headcount approvals approximately twice a year.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntersville, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50
