Description:

Our client is looking for a security-focused individual with a risk mindset to work on various security initiatives, including firewall upgrades, security posture enhancements, and cloud security.

The key projects involve upgrading the existing checkpoint firewall environment, optimizing firewall rules, and providing security expertise to other teams like SOC and IAM and SIEM.

The candidate should have recent checkpoint firewall experience, but the company is open to considering candidates with broader next-gen firewall knowledge.

Our client is also interested in the candidate's experience with cloud security posture management, particularly using tools like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

15+ years experience, at least 5 in a security role

• Strong network background

• Understands or has working knowledge of servers and endpoints

• Azure networking and security (Cloud)

• Check Point firewall experience on R80+ or certification at CSSE or above, MDS, upgrading gateways and management, Cloud guard, etc.

• Has worked in OT/Manufacturing environments providing segmentation services using firewalls

• Can self-manage projects and informally lead/train others

• Other Security certifications a plus.
