Job Purpose and Impact

Location: Hull (HU6 7PH): The role is a permanent full time position Monday-Friday based at the Hull manufacturing site. Flexible working can be discussed but this is mainly a site based position.

The main responsibility is to support the Engineering department via the central administration team to enable the smooth operation of the department to deliver site objectives. The role will focus on the general administration needs for Projects Document Control and raising Purchase Orders using SAP.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Hull Project Engineering team to ensure projects are managed & delivered to a high standard

  • Document control for Capital Engineering projects and plant maintenance shutdowns

  • Purchasing support to include raising purchasing requests & reconciling orders

  • Support with CAPEX cost reporting

  • Working with the administration team supporting their work load during busy periods and annual leave

Qualifications

• Secondary level qualifications

• Working knowledge of all MS Office packages and Sharepoint

• SAP knowledge or a similar ERP system

• Able to communicate at all levels of an organization effectively, working both in a team and individually whilst managing multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Engineering administration in a manufacturing/ project environment

• Project Management software experience

• Financial skills – e.g. working knowledge of CAPEX management
