Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Controls Engineer in the material handling space. The role involves significant involvement in material handling systems, requiring the candidate to possess strong technical skills in controls engineering. The position includes 33% travel across the U.S., primarily to the West Coast, with all travel expenses reimbursed. Responsibilities include developing new programs, maintaining existing ones, collaborating with sales and operations teams, building panels, working on drawings, and interfacing with various divisions on projects.

Hard Skills

• Programming from scratch in Rockwell PLC and HMI

• Design in AutoCAD Electrical

• Network/Ethernet IP

Soft Skills

• Client interface experience

• Personable personality

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hudsonville, Michigan.

The company is a Systems Integration firm specializing in electrical and control systems across various industries including food and beverage processing, and material handling. The work environment consists of a standard office space and diverse settings when traveling.
