Anticipated period of employment: 02/01/2025 to 11/30/25
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion
Perform duties like: Assist in live cover breeding. Full watch of pregnant mares. Assist in foaling and foaling aftercare. Administering medications and vaccinations. Handling of live horses of all ages and genders, including young foals. Perform Halter training and sales preparation. Load/unload departing horses or new arrivals. Walk horses. Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office.
