Job Summary:

The Tipping Operator must be able to comply with all safety requirements and pre and post operation of the tipping machine. Associates must also be able to operate a manual hand jack and be able to lift pallets and sleeves as necessary in the performance of their duties.

The operator is responsible for the safe and efficient use of equipment. Operators must be able to comply with all safety guidelines and perform pre and post-operational checklists on equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to use a hand jack

  • Must be able to learn and operate tipper

  • Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed.

  • Perform pre and post-operational checklists on equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.

  • Ability to complete safety certification training

Qualifications:

  • Must be over the age of 18.

  • Prior warehouse and equipment operation experience is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to lift and handle materials, push and pull up to 50 lbs

  • Strong attention to safety and detail.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.

  • Positive attitude and team player mentality.

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check that meets agency standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience

  • First Aid or CPR certification

  • Ability to work independently and to follow directions with limited supervision

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
