Grundfos is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all employees and activities in receiving, clean and prep line, and warehouse areas. Additionally, the Supervisor will collaborate with planning, production, quality, shipping, and engineering teams to execute daily tasks while having safety as a top priority. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and will operate daily out of the Brookshire, Texas facility.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Supervise, hire, coach, develop, discipline, monitor performance and provide direction to employees.

  • Plan out all department resources and activities, aligning with the company’s objectives and targets while complying with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Prepare work schedules, assignments, and supervise daily tasks to meet department targets.

  • Lead daily warehouse meetings and participate in the supply chain daily action meeting.

  • Monitor daily department performance indicators via the warehouse activity monitor, COGI, and department dashboards to identify and implement improvements to achieve or exceed targets.

  • Adhere to the warehouse cycle count program, review inventory discrepancies, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions.

  • Monitor the coordination of inventory to and from 3PL and support future projects to grow the business.

  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and supplies are sufficient and in adequate condition.

  • Review and approve all personal time and vacation requests and weekly attendance submittals.

  • Maintain and create performance development plans.

  • Ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts or other machinery and equipment and employee certifications are current.

  • Assist with the identification of hazards, risks, and environmental impacts, participate in incident investigations, risk assessments, and root cause investigations.

  • Comply with GCB Environmental, Health, ISO, and Safety Management System requirements.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • Possess a high school diploma, but a bachelor’s degree is desirable.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of warehouse/stockroom experience of which 2 years were in a supervisory role.

  • High working knowledge of SAP in receiving and warehouse environment, WMS experience is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word & Outlook.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer centric solutions.
