Test Engineersto join our team supporting the PAC-3 Missile Defense Program in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on the design, testing, and integration of complex systems in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role requires an active Secret clearance.

Key Duties:

  • Plan, design, integrate, and troubleshoot automated and non-automated test equipment, including verifying and validating test systems and understanding software control of complex systems.
  • Perform hardware and software systems integration to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Define and execute test system requirements, develop verification methodologies, and conduct testing and analysis to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures, manage test events, and address issues through Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and resolutions.
  • Analyze functional specifications, identify and report problems, and manage their resolution in collaboration with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and development teams.
  • Communicate effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, leveraging strong organizational and analytical skills to support project goals. :::

::: {#jobdetailsatsrequisitionrequirements} Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
  • 3 or more years of test engineering experience.
  • Experience in test equipment planning, verification, and validation, including designing, integrating, and troubleshooting automated and non-automated test equipment, with an understanding of software control for complex systems.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software systems integration, test system requirements, and verification methodologies.
  • Expertise in testing and analysis activities to ensure compliance with requirements, including developing test plans, procedures, and managing test events.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, including Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, functional specification analysis, and effective collaboration with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, and thermal/vibration testing equipment, along with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
