The Systems Administrator, Safety is responsible for developing and disseminating EHS analytics and for assisting in the creation of strategies to manage and mitigate risks across the organization. In addition, this role implements and maintains Safety systems, compiles monthly reporting, and performs various administrative functions in support of the department’s initiatives and programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with the SHEQ department and the Risk team.
Responsibilities
Administers Origami Safety System: reviews nightly report and verifies data input accuracy; creates dashboards/widgets; participates in training and WebEx’s; assists in weekly/monthly schedule reports.
Creates, delivers user training materials and conducts trainings for existing and new users for Origami.
Performs user maintenance, including security, profiles and roles in Origami.
Performs analysis and trending of health and safety statistics and metrics to proactively monitor safety performance.
Generates easy-to-interpret reports based on collected data.
Uses statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes.
Assists with maintenance of the information and administration of the Sologic RCAs Safety System.
Compiles data for monthly Executive Safety Committee meeting agenda.
Emails communications to Houston-based employees and coordinates speakers and surveys for corporate safety meetings.
Compiles annual data for several organizations including EEI, NCSE and OSP.
Creates and receives Purchase Orders via JD Edwards. Communicates with Accounting to ensure timely payments.
Supports biennial Risk & Safety Conference.
Provides support in the administration of the Commitment Coin Program: reads/follows up on all commitment coin emails; assists in promoting the program; ensures CEO’s notes are signed and delivered; distributes belt buckles; maintains Commitment Coin recipient list; highlights stories on QCentral.
Facilitates the ordering of FR clothing and PPE for department employees and maintains inventory.
Conducts weekly New Hire Orientation for the corporate office.
Provides administrative support for Quanta’s Leaning Management System (QPC) and adds training classes.
Administers department SharePoint site by providing access, making changes and helping with issues.
Assists with storm-related activities and provides a corporate support function for meetings, supplies etc.
Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
