Our client, an industry leader in reliable energy and essential products is seeking a Supply Chain Management Buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, analytic skills and negotiation skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Chain Management Buyer

Location: Houston, Texas

Pay Range: Up to $55/hour

What’s the Job?

• Responsible for the procurement of goods and services for Company.

• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices.

• Meet with internal stakeholders to discuss requirements, contractor performance, unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective actions.

• Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure suppliers comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes.

What’s Needed?

• A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and 5-10 years of procurement experience is required

• Ariba or other sourcing tools and Federal Procurement is preferred.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
