We are looking for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing and analyzing financial information in various areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations. This role also involves maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring the accuracy of Journal Entries.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments

• Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including invoicing and cash receipting

• Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies

• Maintain and update the General Ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded

• Prepare and post accurate Journal Entries, supporting the month-end close process

• Conduct the Month End Close operations, ensuring all financial records are up to date

• Utilize QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online for financial management and reporting.

Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Applicant should have experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Familiarity with General Ledger is mandatory.

• The candidate should be able to make Journal Entries.

• Experience in handling Month End Close is required.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is necessary.

• The candidate should have experience in using Quickbooks Online.
