Job Description

A Fortune 500 client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Digital Experience team. This role involves supporting an enterprise project to implement and deploy multiple custom and packaged applications on new hardware devices across all plant locations. For the first two months, this person will work closely with their reporting manager to define and develop questionnaires and processes to understand the applications and devices used at each plant. Following this, this person will travel to plant locations to meet with internal customers (operators) and conduct discovery sessions to document current applications and devices. The goal is to identify hardware devices that need updates and determine which applications to install on them. Additionally, this person will manage 6-7 different projects across 21 sites, providing status updates and project reporting.

Candidates must be local to the Houston area and willing to come onsite Tuesday through Thursday when not traveling. In 2025, this role will require travel up to 50-75% domestically and internationally to Canada. The targeted pay rate is $60-70 per hour.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years overall IT industry experience

7+ years of Project Management experience tracking project budgets and financials, gathering requirements, coordinating with other teams, etc.

Project management experience in application implementation and deployment projects (ideally off the shelf apps and custom apps)

Ability to use ServiceNow for project tracking

Strong Excel skills ability to create pivot tables for financial tracking

Customer first mentality, excellent organizational skills, and friendly

Self starter mentality

Abilty to travel domestically and internationally (must have active passport)

Excellent written and verbal communication Any industry experience in oil and gas or chemical plants null
