Job Description

An employer in Houston, TX is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for helping manage and deliver on large multi-million-dollar capital project and be the liaison between the Business Units and the IT teams. Day to day will include but not be limited to working with business partners to collaborate and understand needs, creating timelines, tracking milestones, hosting steering team meetings, managing budgets and metrics, creating S-Curve charts, and weekly dashboards. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication as they will be one of the main points of contact for the project as well as working closely with IT leadership and stakeholders to provide status updates. This person must have the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence, be able to work independently as well as in a team environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of Project Management experience

Hands on experience managing large multi-million dollar projects

Proficient in managing projects or programs using Agile methodology

Ability to prioritize multiple project deliverables, deliver on commitments and use sound business judgment.

Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in successfully working with senior level leadership

Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve Previous Oil & gas experience

PMP Certification null
