Position Summary:

Provides consultation and advice, participates in planning, developing, and implementing solutions to meet Global Business Unit or Project Supply Chain Systems automation requirements. Provides technical and administrative support, as well as implements, operates and assists Global Business Unit office and project users in running SiteSense application and Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) application suite and associated systems. Analyzes and resolves operational problems, taking corrective action as necessary. Provides advice to users on correct software usage and conducts training classes as requested. Be available to travel as required to set up projects or to troubleshoot as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with projects both at home office and field to support SiteSense.

  • Aligning with Automation Specialists / Project Materials Managers to obtain accurate information regarding SiteSense setups.

  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves problems relating to SiteSense, hardware, software or network related error.

  • Support day to day issues regarding SiteSense transactions

  • MRR, MWR, UOS&D

  • Inventory Transfers and Movements

  • Reporting

  • And others

  • Ability to facilitate initial inventory location setups within SiteSense.

  • Liaising with GBU, Corporate and SiteSense to ensure we are providing sufficient inventory support to projects.

  • Participates with designated project implementation teams and personnel to determine and develop project automation requirements and objectives. This includes providing advice, guidance, and recommendations.

  • Completion of Digital Supply Chain System Project Setup (Project Initiatives, Approvals Workflows, Shipping, and Inventory Destinations etc.).

  • Organizes and performs training as well as user desk instruction, including the maintenance and distribution of user training materials and documentation related to SiteSense & Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) application suite and other associated systems.

  • Participates in software demonstrations and presentations as required by the Global Business Unit or Project.

  • Performs data quality checks and import as directed by Project.

  • Initiates requests for resolution of both hardware and software problems encountered during implementation and operations of the SiteSense and Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) application suite and other associated systems.

  • Communicates technical and detailed support requests to the Corporate Digital Supply Chain group including analysis of process steps taken.

  • Generates and maintains Project Procurement Metrics and Performance data.

Qualifications and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience

  • Required 4+ years of experience working as a systems specialist (Implementation, Support, Training and Maintenance).

  • Knowledge of and experience in a different Supply Chain discipline (Supplier Management, Purchasing, Contracts, Expediting, Logistics, Materials Management and Field Procurement).

  • Advanced knowledge of standard office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, and including simple table, query, report and macro design.

  • Knowledge of and experience with SiteSense and Oracle E-Business Suite of software is preferred.

  • Knowledge of and experience with other standard applications used by Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Construction and Finance.

  • Experience with and knowledge of data processing operations.

  • Skilled in oral communication and experience in giving practical and technical presentations to medium and large audiences.
