YOUR ROLE

The Safety Health Environmental (SHE) Technician is responsible for ensuring that health, safety and environmental standards are upheld with the organization. Through collaboration with various departments / locations, the SHE Technician facilitates a culture of safety and environmental awareness, making it an essential component of the organization’s operational framework.

  • Responsible for maintaining information for eight (8) facilities across North America

  • Facilitate and coordinate safety training sessions to promote awareness and understanding of safety practices

  • Collaborate with various sites to compile reports for all levels of leadership

  • Manage the SHE documentation, including associate training files and various databases

  • Facilitate and coordinate monthly Safety Committee meetings

  • Create safety ‘one-pagers’ for distribution

YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • HSD / GED required

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in occupational safety and health/industrial hygiene or equivalent experience in industrial safety preferred

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing safety training

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel required

The salary for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 . This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
