We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a focus on Active Directory (AD), ADFS, VMware, and a broad range of Microsoft technologies. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex IT infrastructure. Your expertise in AD, ADFS, VMware, and Microsoft technologies, combined with your strong global experience and communication skills, will be essential in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems and applications.

Main Activities:

• Lead the design, deployment, and administration of the Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including ADFS for single sign-on and federated identity management.

• Manage and maintain VMware virtualization environments, including patching and updates of virtual machines (VMs).

• Oversee the implementation and support of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and other related messaging systems to ensure efficient email communication.

• Administer and support Microsoft Server environments, ranging from earlier versions up to the latest release (2019), ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Manage and support Office 365 (O365) environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams, to facilitate collaboration and productivity across the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide technical expertise in the implementation of IT projects.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement appropriate solutions to maintain system uptime and performance.

• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security fixes to mitigate vulnerabilities and enhance system stability.

• Monitor system performance, capacity, and health, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to ensure seamless operations.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures.

• Serve as a strong communicator, effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and providing exceptional support to end-users.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Extensive professional experience as a Systems Engineer, with a focus on Active Directory, ADFS, VMware, Microsoft Server, and Office 365.

• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex AD and ADFS infrastructures, including federated identity management.

• In-depth knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies and experience in patching and updating VMs.

• Proficiency in managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and other messaging systems.

• Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Server operating systems up to the latest release (2019).

• Strong understanding of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.

• Global experience, preferably working in a multi-site or international IT environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a diverse audience.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or similar, are highly desirable.
