Maverick Natural Resources is currently seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their Asset Development team.
With limited to no supervision, handle reservoir engineering assignments of varied scope and complexity
Solvent flood management (generating key metrics and diagnostic plots for decision making)
Assure that producing properties stream-day capacities are built and optimized under current and long term economical conditions
Formalize Asset Development & Depletion Plans (ADDP) on existing assets
Serve as coach/mentor for other reservoir engineers and technical assistants
Assist in the development of realistic schedules, budgets, cost estimates and economic evaluations for projects and work within the asset development and Operations groups to ensure optimal project design and execution.
Engineering degree and 12+ years of experience in oil and gas reservoir studies or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in wide variety of reservoirs and projects (conventional, unconventional, heavy oil, CO2 Injection, Waterflood)
Proficient in reservoir simulation for mature waterflood and CO2 injection projects.
Proficient in EOR/IOR processes, machine learning, AI applications
Experience with engineering software (Streamsim, MBAL, PROSPER/NODAL, PANSYSTEM, ECLIPSE/PETREL, SAPHIR, Fekete RTA or others)
Experience with economic software (Aries preferably)
Experience in advance history matching, PTA, RTA and DCA.
Understanding of applicable new field technology
Experience working in – and preferably leading – cross-functional teams
Some supervisory experience and operational including field experience would be desirable
