Senior Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer

The job role requires the KBR Instrumentation and Control System Engineer to work from the Houston Office location as part of the Project Management Team for our client. This PM Team will manage and oversee the EPC Contractor located in China as they perform Detail Engineering for this Mega Scale Refinery. Periodic business trips to China as well as Packaged Equipment Supplier offices around the world are required. This role is in place to ensure the Engineering Contractor delivers a complete quality design that is a working solution while meeting all applicable specifications. The Engineer must have instrumentation and control systems experience for Packaged Equipment, Analytical Systems, sensing instrumentation, process control instrumentation, and process control/safety systems. The engineer also needs working experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.

Under broad direction, interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments. Applies advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for an assigned area of responsibility such as a function or product. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 20+ years.
