Emerson Senior Global Product Manager in Houston, Texas

If you are a Product Management professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Senior Global Product Manager to support our Isolation Valves Business. Reporting directly to the Strategic Business Unit VP, this role will be responsible for leading the global Product management team, global product positioning and new product programs.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop and lead overall portfolio roadmap for the SBU including new products, features, improvements, cost programs, and rationalization / obsolescence programs

  • Actively manage the financial success of the portfolio, including Orders growth and Sales margin across all World Areas

  • Conduct voice of customer research, visit customers, and attend industry events to understand competitive threats and unmet customer needs

  • Implement annual routine price review to identify price opportunities and complete global and regional strategies

  • Develop and maintain product collateral targeted at core industries and applications – content should relate key product features to customer KPIs and/or pains

  • Support and/or provide product training to customers and Emerson team members

  • Lead Delegation of Authority (DOA) with world areas

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • 10 years or more of related experience (including minimum 3 years of product management) at product company or heavy industry operator required; additional relevant experience includes engineering, technical sales, operations, supply chain, systems / IT

  • Good knowledge and expertise in Actuation/Valve Products

  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and good problem solving skills

  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, STEM, or Business required; MBA strongly desirable but not required
