Job Title: Control Panel Wireman/Testing

Job Description

Candidates will build large switchgears, transformers, and control panels used in the oil and gas industry. They will test point-to-point connections using electrical testing equipment such as voltage meters and multi-meters. Responsibilities include building panels, testing finished panels, and writing reports on testing findings. Candidates will work with high voltage equipment (not live) and read blueprints and wiring diagrams to set up products. The work is custom and varies, providing a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Experience building large switchgears, transformers, and control panels

• Using electrical testing equipment (voltage meter/multi-meter)

• Reading blueprints and wiring diagrams

• Writing detailed testing reports

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

Nice, clean, air-conditioned shop. Candidates will work the 1st shift from 6am-4:30pm, with the possibility of staying as late as 6:30pm and working up to 70 hours per week. Open-ended contract for at least 6 months with potential for long-term employment.
