Responsibilities

Senior Consultant - Education (Texas)

The Public Consulting Group Education Team seeks a Senior Consultant - Education to serve as a project manager and subject matter expert within the practice with a strong understanding of federal requirements for funding and service provision. A person that can develop and execute on new growth strategies and identify new sales opportunities and follow-up on sales leads.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Accountable for successful delivery of assigned module/accounts.

  • Coordinate with team members to complete deliverables.

  • Prioritize work and coordinate activities with clients.

  • Responsible for problem-solving and communication with stakeholders.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and execute strategies with clients to establish a professional relationship.

  • Provide operational and product knowledge, customer service, and training support.

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective cross-functional team performance.

Operations and Financial Management:

  • Work with program, operations, and production management teams.

  • Manage regional project financials, pricing, budgets, and forecasting.

  • Support the annual budgeting process and proposal development.

  • Monitor and recommend changes to client success/production support operations.

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Maintain a global understanding of client's key strategic business initiatives.

  • Oversee regional service delivery operations and changes.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and gather actionable insights.

Client Engagement and Support:

  • Lead client success team engagements with key stakeholders.

  • Proactively monitor renewal risk factors and engage clients.

  • Work with clients to ensure effective utilization of products and services.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Ensure work activities are planned and completed on time.

  • Participate in conferences and lead RFP/RFI submissions.

  • Prepare contract updates and communicate changes to clients.

  • Prepare and present client/production support status reports.

Training and Development:

  • Work in partnership with the regional training and customer support manager to ensure delivery of high-quality training and training materials (videos, user guides, scripts).

  • Collaborate with regional product manager to drive the product roadmap and development process.

Issue Resolution and Risk Management:

  • Track progress of assigned issues/risks and notify Program Manager.

  • Identify, record, and resolve issues/risks related to clients.

  • Ensure timely response to escalated risks and issues.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Work cross-functionally within program management, operations, and product teams.

  • Drive continuous improvement in processes.

  • Coordinate with Program and Product Management teams to align account and task management processes.

  • Identifies and implements continuous business improvements, standardize business processes and facilitate change management activities in a regional enterprise.

Qualifications

Senior Consultant - Education (Texas)

Education and Experience

  • Master’s Degree.

  • 5+ years' of relevant work experience.

  • Work experience in Special Education Data Management, IEP Compliance Monitoring, School-based Medicaid reimbursement, or Case Management Special Population Projects at the State and/or District levels (preferred).

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in client success, project management, and operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and business writing skills and ability to make presentations to various audiences.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

  • Proven creative problem-solving ability.

  • Proven ability to take initiative and seek solutions.

  • Ability to travel and participate in conferences (as needed).

Working Conditions

  • Due to client needs, the ideal candidate will need to reside in Texas.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $80,000 to $120,000 and a potential discretionary bonus of up to 15%. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
