KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services (https://tax.kpmg.us/content/tax/en/index.html) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients and trust administrators on matters relating to assigned accounts

  • Perform interim reviews of accounts' financial data to prepare and file federal and state fiduciary returns with a minimum of errors

  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Maintains flexibility by adapting effectively when dealing with different tasks, responsibilities, people and environments

  • Manage an account load of approximately 1,000 to 2,000 fiduciary and agency accounts

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of tax experience

  • Bachelor's degree with accounting major from an accredited college or university

  • Experience using automated tax return preparation software

  • Experience using automated tax return preparation software and MS Office applications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to perform responsibilities with little supervision

  • Able to maintain flexibility by adapting effectively when dealing with different tasks, responsibilities, people and environments
