Sales and Marketing Executive

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $60,000-70,000

Kelly Services has recently partnered with a premier organization in the Maritime industry, seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to join their team. In business for over 30 years, our client is a global leader specializing in problem solving the fuel needs of major shipping companies. The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for generating unique sales plans, developing pricing and marketing strategies, and meeting marketing and sales objectives. Duties:

  • Increase sales revenue indirectly through a combination of existing services through new package offers, new customers and existing services and package offers.

  • Planning, implementing, standardizing and managing marketing strategy along with CMO, Board of Directors and Business Directors to include expanding scope that would yield increase in revenue, increase market share, and increase geographical areas.

  • Responsible for achieving growth targets.

  • Develop and implement the annual marketing plan and achieve agreed quantified objectives.

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives and third party service providers.

  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understand consumer requirements, identify market trends, and suggest system improvements to achieve marketing goals.

  • Gather, investigate and summarize market data and trends to draft reports.

  • Implement new sales plans and advertising.

  • Maintain relationship with clients by regular visits to understand their needs.

  • Stay current in industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops and maintain personal and professional networks.

  • Must be willing to travel internationally (mainly Canada and South and Central America).

Qualifications:

  • Maritime industry backgrounding in sales with minimum 2-5 years of experience.

  • A Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administrations or related field.

  • Experience in management may be advantageous.

  • Strong closing skills.

  • Ability to present multiple product lines.

  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
