Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Data Analyst in the insurance and risk management industry based in Houston, Texas. Your role will involve the coordination and preparation of underwriting submissions, maintenance of our surety bond portfolio, and management of auto liability and workers' compensation claims. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and attention to detail will be pivotal in the efficient processing of premium invoices and issuance of certificates of insurance and auto ID cards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the gathering of policy underwriting data and preparing underwriting submissions

• Identifying relevant insurance terms to assist in contract reviews

• Maintaining and managing the surety bond portfolio

• Reporting and managing auto liability and worker's compensation claims

• Issuing certificates of insurance and auto ID cards

• Processing premium invoices with accuracy and efficiency

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management

• Reviewing insurance policies and ensuring compliance with industry standards

• Applying risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses

• Assisting in the underwriting process by evaluating and analyzing submission data. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Familiarity with policy analysis and implementation

• Experience with invoice review and processing

• Understanding of insurance principles and practices

• Knowledge of risk management strategies

• Ability to handle submission processes efficiently

• Experience in underwriting procedures

• Familiarity with bonds and bond markets

• Experience with Worker's Compensation Claim processing

• Knowledge of Surety bonds and their application

• Understanding of Auto Liability insurance.
