What You’ll Do
As a QA/QC Intern , you’ll play a key role in supporting our Quality Assurance and Quality Control team while gaining hands-on experience in construction quality management . Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to ensuring compliance, improving processes, and maintaining high-quality standards on our projects. Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:
Quality Control Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and documentation.
Construction Inspections: Support the QA/QC team in conducting inspections of construction activities, including materials, equipment, and workmanship.
Material Verification: Aid in reviewing and verifying the quality of construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Corrective Action Tracking: Help track and document corrective actions and resolutions.
Documentation & Reporting: Participate in the preparation and review of quality documentation such as test reports, inspection records, and checklists.
Inspection Coordination: Assist in coordinating and scheduling site inspections and audits.
Safety & Compliance: Support the QA/QC team in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Project Meetings: Attend and participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control progress.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform any additional tasks as required by the QA/QC Manager or team members.
What You Bring to the Table
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field .
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control principles .
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for quality assurance.
Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with various stakeholders.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) . Experience with construction software or project management tools is a plus.
Adaptability & Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to take on new challenges and develop expertise in construction quality control.
