Description:
Duties: Monitors the operation of the general computer lab and assists with software installations if needed Greets students as they come into the general computer area and provides first-tier user support to students and faculty Provides data entry for the Help Desk Ticketing System Performs opening and/or closing procedures Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have good telephone etiquette and good customer service skills Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Internet browsers, MS Office Professional Suit, and other applications Must be a self-starter in exercising initiative and have the ability to get things done by performing daily tasks effectively Solve basic routine Software and Hardware issues as necessary Qualifications: *This position is at the UHD Northwest Campus* Must be a UHD student Must be able to work the evening shift (4 pm to 9 pm) and/or split shift. Must have some knowledge of software skills Experience requirements: Less than one year Must provide a resume and current UHD class schedule
