Responsibilities

  1. Performs preventative and corrective main tenance of all types of refrigeration and HVAC

  2. Install small refrigeration systems.

  3. Since electrical safety is an assignment of the Electrical Department, refrigeration/electrical problems will be handled jointly with the Electrical Department.

  4. Electrical troubleshooting skills are mandatory.

  5. When the need arises, work with other trades within the skill limits of the refrigeration

  6. Assists supervisor in organizing daily activities such as parts ordering, inventories, job assignments and project

  7. Perform other duties as assigned or neccassry.

  8. Shift work may be required.

  9. May be required to be on call.

Qualifications

  • Trade school graduate –OR- eight years of experience

  • Four (4) years related maintenance experience

  • Ability to demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies and tools assigned

  • Ability to work with public and other employees

  • Must have ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Physical abilities; such as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and squatting

Pay Range

$20.71 - $28.48 /hour
