This is a hybrid position where about 80% of your time will be as a Maintenance Planner with Admin responsibilities and the other 20% will be more Plant Maintenance. Working with vendors, processing invoices, keeping parts inventory, etc... The position also consists of repairing and maintaining all production and facility equipment, new equipment installations, and maintaining established preventative maintenance programs. The qualified candidate will be a full journeyman in Machine Repair, Plant Mechanic, or Millwright, must be proficient in reading mechanical/electrical prints, pneumatic schematics, and hydraulic schematics, proficient in pipe fitting skills of air, water, hydraulics, and must have good attendance record.

salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Receive price quotes from Vendors. Compare price quotes from competing Vendors

• Prepare approved purchase requests; issue Purchase Orders, place orders, track orders from the initial parts request, back to the requestor.

• Process incoming Vendor invoices, Packing lists and assign to the correct account. Prepare invoice packet for local accounts payable.

• Manage Maintenance budgets on a period by period basis. Reconcile accounts against corporate monthly.

• Process incoming Capital project invoices. Packing lists and assign to the correct capital project. Prepare invoice packet for local accounts payable.

• Manage Capital project budgets on a project by project basis. Works closely with Maintenance Manager and Project Engineers to track project costs.

• Train back-up admin

• Repair parts inventory Controller

• An integral part of the maintenance team that designs storage room layout and part categorizing.

• Develop repair parts nomenclature and Store locations

• Heads up all parts inventory and data entry into Infor

• Train and mentor back-up Inventory Controller, work closely with him/her to organize parts room

• Perform scheduled Maintenance audits including but not limited to; 2-way Radio Audit, Plant key control Audit, Preventative Maintenance and Work Order Audits,

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 4 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
