What is the job about?

Grundfos is seeking a dynamic and experienced Dosing Key Account Manager (KAM) to play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence in dosing pumps and water treatment technologies within our Industrial Performance Unit. This position focuses on managing and nurturing key accounts to foster long-term relationships and drive growth in sales.

As a Key Account Manager, your role is to increase Grundfos’ dosing pump, water treatment, and disinfection equipment market share in the Industrial Performance Unit (PU) through target markets or accounts; assist in the management of key Water Treatment accounts to secure and preserve long-term purchasing agreements, and report specific business, market, and industry information.

You will be deployed with a specific focus on a set of customers, market segment, dosing/disinfection product group, within the Industrial Key Account and OEM team. You will establish and build strong relationships with target decision makers and serves as a value-added resource for the Customer and Industry PU in order to help Grundfos reach the strategic goals set forth within Water Treatment.

You will report directly to the Senior Area Sales Manager and will operate remotely out of any location in the US. Travel will be expected for this role.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Strategically target and penetrate key market segments and accounts to significantly increase Grundfos’ market share in dosing and disinfection equipment.

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key Water Treatment accounts to secure long-term purchasing agreements and collaborative partnerships.

  • Act as a trusted advisor by offering value-added insights and solutions tailored to customer needs, enhancing their operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with our business objectives.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide actionable insights and report to the Area Sales Manager (ASM).

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Three years of proven success in sales or account management within the water treatment, industrial, or related sectors.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships with decision-makers.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.

  • Self-driven with a result-oriented approach and a passion for making a difference in the industry.

  • Familiarity with dosing or disinfection equipment is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (overnight travel).

  • Ability to travel internationally (maintain an active passport).

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. For candidates in California, the pay range for this position is $79,568 to $109,909. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.

Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.
