Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Insurance Authorization Coordinator in Houston, Texas. As an integral part of our team, you will be tasked with managing claims and maintaining the accuracy of customer accounts within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Address and resolve customer inquiries and disputes effectively.

• Accurately process customer credit applications within a timely manner.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless resolution of claims and other related issues.

• Conduct a thorough review of claims and denials, evaluate their validity and work towards resolving them effectively.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of billing guidelines and stay updated on any changes to ensure compliance.

• Gather missing information and preserve important data necessary for the resolution of claims.

• Perform account clean-ups while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Leverage CRM and other tools to organize and manage large volumes of data. Requirements • Proficiency in using CRM software for managing customer relationships and interactions.

• Ability to handle and respond effectively to inbound calls.

• Demonstrated experience in managing authorizations in an insurance setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of benefit functions, including eligibility determination and benefit utilization.

• Familiarity with billing functions, with an emphasis on insurance billing.

• Experience in claim administration, including processing, tracking, and resolution of claims.

• Strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work with claims data, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

• Experience in handling insurance claims, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Familiarity with medical claims, including coding, submission, and follow-up. TalentMatch®
