The Solar Install Manager will be in charge of all the installers and foreman in their area. Will work with the sales staff to coordinate scheduling. Mainly working in the office, but also some work outside doing spot checks on the install sight. Delegating crews to different install sights and overseeing all of the install process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire installation team.
Manage and be in charge of scheduling the crews.
Working with the sales staff to help coordinate scheduling.
Go out to different install sights and do spot checks, to make sure everything is running smoothly
Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
Knowledge of management and PV solar installation
Time management, leadership, and organizational skills.
Previous experience in PV installations, roof work, general construction, or carpentry preferred.
Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems preferred.
Comfortable working in an office setting and some standing and working on rooftops.
Undergo background and drug & alcohol screening.
Solar experience preferred but not required.
